Meet our adoptable dogs

Our pets are ready to find their purr-fect forever homes.

Meet Pip

Pip is a very shy little pup with a sensitive heart who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. New people and environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she tends to take things slow — but with patience and gentle encouragement, Pip has the potential to truly blossom.

She’s looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that trust takes time. Once she begins to feel comfortable, Pip shows glimpses of her sweet and loving nature, and those small moments make all the difference.

Pip would do best with a patient adopter who will let her move at her own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way. If you have a kind heart and a peaceful home, Pip could be the perfect companion to grow with.

  • Estimated DOB 03/01/2025, 1 year old
  • Female, Mixed Breed (Small), currently 16.6 lbs
  • Available, Spayed, Vaccinated, up to date on flea and heartworm prevention

Meet Maple

She may look at you with those big, tender eyes, but she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She’s a reserved pup who will need a home willing to go at her pace — a family that understands that trust isn’t instant; it’s built over time with patience, consistency, and kindness.

She would do best in a home that can give her a quiet, low-stress environment; time to decompress and adjust with gentle encouragement (never pressure); and a family committed to helping her build confidence.

Once she feels safe, you’ll start to see her sweet personality peek through — soft tail wags, quiet companionship, and a deep bond that’s incredibly special because you earned it.

About

  • Estimated DOB 02/28/2023, 3 years old
  • Female, Mixed Breed (Medium), currently 38 lbs
  • Available, Spayed, Vaccinated, up to date on flea and heartworm prevention

Meet Honey

Honey is the devoted mom of six beautiful puppies, all of whom were adopted right here through Brightside. She did an incredible job raising her babies — and now every single one of them is thriving in their forever homes. Now it’s finally Honey’s turn.

Honey is incredibly social with people and truly loves being around them. She has a warm, gentle nature and forms strong, loving bonds with her humans. Whether it’s relaxing at home, going for a walk, or simply soaking up your attention, Honey is happiest when she’s by your side.

If you’re looking for a loyal, people-loving companion with a beautiful spirit, come meet Honey.

Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loyal nature really shines. Biscuit thrives in a home that offers patience, consistency, and a little encouragement as he settles in.

If you’re ready for a best friend who will entertain you, adore you, and maybe demand a few belly rubs along the way, Biscuit is your guy.

Meet Moose

Meet Moose, a happy, fun, loving boy who will steal your heart in less than a minute! This big teddy bear loves meeting everyone he can and is always ready for some affection.

Moose is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion. He lives for walks and hikes; while he can get excited at the start of a walk and may pull a bit, once he gets moving he walks beautifully on leash — and he already knows “sit,” “down,” and “relax” on a mat.

Moose is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, allowing him to fully relax and shine as the center of attention.

About

  • Estimated DOB 09/04/2023, 2 years and 6 months old

She eagerly greets everyone she meets, insists on being part of everything you do, and loves curling up next to you. Her brother Leo, a 3-year-old hound mix with a heart as big as his name, is reserved at first but sure to win you over.

They get along with other dogs, walk well on leash, and are ready to bring double the love, joy, and companionship to a family that will cherish them both.

About

  • Luna: estimated DOB 05/28/2022, female hound mix, 54.8 lbs

Meet Daisy & Dot

A bonded pair. Daisy and Dot are two sweet, gentle girls who share a special bond and are looking for a quiet home where they can continue to grow in confidence — together. They’re on the shy side right now, but beneath that uncertainty are loving, playful personalities just waiting to shine.

Ideal home: a calm, low-traffic household; adult-only or children 13+; a secure, fenced yard; a dedicated space where they can decompress; and patient adopters willing to give them time. They may do well with another calm dog after a proper introduction.

They are currently available as a foster-to-adopt pair, giving them the chance to transition out of the shelter and into a home environment at their own pace.

About

  • Estimated DOB 01/18/2024, 2 years and 2 months old
  • Female, Mixed Breed (Medium), currently 35.8 lbs

Fosters needed!

Open your home, for a while

Our animals thrive when they can enjoy a home of their own. Fostering gives a shy dog, a recovering cat or a new litter the calm and comfort a shelter can’t — and frees up space for the next animal in need.

Some of our pets, like Daisy & Dot, are available as foster-to-adopt, so they can settle into a home at their own pace.
